Travel from the Airport to Midtown
If you are flying to Atlanta for our wedding, you can use a Rideshare service, typically about $25-40 to get to midtown, where our venue and hotels are, from the airport. You can also take Marta ($3.50 per person), our public transportation, to stations within a 10 minute walk from the same area with the venue and hotels.
Once you are in the area, you are walking distance to the venue as well as restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. You are welcome to rent a car, but it is not necessary.
Parking for The Wimbish House
If you want to drive to the wedding, you can park in a garage on the same block as the venue. The parking garage is a block south of Wimbish House (open lot in between the garage and venue); you need to use the entrance between 14th and 12th streets. It closes at 12am on Saturday nights. You will enter on the 6th level, so that is the level you will need to be at to walk to the venue. Bring your parking ticket inside with you to get it validated.
Hotel Information
We have reserved a block at the Loews on Peachtree St., which is the first hotel listed below. Be aware that most of the hotels in this area have a charge for parking your car overnight in their garage.
The hotels that follow are other hotels from different conglomerates in the area. The AC Hotel is a Marriott. In addition to the ones listed below, there are many other hotels within walking distance for you to choose from.
